THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A50 BRADGATE HILL AND MARKFIELD ROAD,GROBY, BOROUGH OF HINCKLEY AND BOSWORTH ) (IMPOSITION OF BANNED MOVEMENTS) ORDER 2017

The Leicestershire County Council ("the Council") in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1) 2 (1) 2(2) 2(4) 4 5 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby makes the following Order:- 1. This Order may be cited as "The Leicestershire County Council, (A50 Bradgate Hill and Markfield Road,Groby, Borough of Hinckley and Bosworth )(Imposition of Banned Movements) order 2017 2. The Order shall come into force on the six day of April 2017 3. "The Leicestershire County Council (Route A50, Groby to Markfield) (Prohibition of U Turns by Commercial Vehicles over 7.5 Tonnes) Order 1995" and "The Leicestershire County Council (Bradgate Hill (A50) (Part) Groby) (Prohibition of Right Turn and Prohibition of U-Turn) Order 1995" are hereby revoked as specified in Schedule 1 to this Order. 4. No person shall, except upon the direction or with the permission of a police officer, a community support officer, a parking attendant or a civil enforcement officer or in accordance with the exemption provisions, cause or permit any vehicle over 7.5 Tonnes to perform a U-Turn on the road specified in Schedule 2 to this Order. 5. The plan annexed to this Order and marked drawing number TM4410/5/2016 is for identification purposes only.

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BRADGATE HILL (A50)(PART) GROBY)(PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN AND PROHIBITION OF U-TURN) ORDER 1995 - to be revoked in its entirety Prohibition of Right Turn Bradgate Hill, Grobv the north-west bound (county bound) carriageway through the gap in the central reservation of Bradgate Hill A50 located at the access to the offices of Redland Aggregates Limited, which is located approximately 1,150 metres north-west of Lena Drive, Groby Prohibition of U-Turn Bradgate Hill, Groby From the north-west bound carriageway to the south-east bound carriageway through the gap in the central reservation of Bradgate Hill (A50) located at the access to Groby Parks Farm which is located approximately 1480 metres north-west of Lena Drive, Groby. SCHEDULE 2 Imposition of Prohibition of U Turns by Commercial Vehicles over 7.5 Tonnes Markfield Road, Groby (i) from the north-west bound carriageway to the south-east bound carriageway, at its junction with Lena Drive (ii) from the south-east bound carriageway to the north-west bound carriageway, at its junction with Lena Drive ( ) from the north-west bound carriageway to the south-east bound carriageway at a point 165 metres west of its junction with C4106 Markfield Road, Groby.
