Bin collections suspended due to weather conditions (10 March 2023)
Dear resident
We have had to suspend waste collections for today (10 March) in view of weather, road conditions and some staff unable to get into the office.
Collections today are Hinckley (recycling/garden) and Barwell (refuse) areas primarily together with the rural area of Fenny Drayton (refuse and garden collections only).
We will plan to collect Barwell refuse collections and Fenny Drayton area on Monday and Tuesday next week together with some remaining streets in Earl Shilton from Thursday’s collections - please leave your bins out.
Garden waste and Recycling collections due today – please re-present your bin(s) on your next collection. Additional dry-recycling (blue-bin) materials can be presented at the side of the bin in a cardboard box or clear plastic sacks.
Unfortunately, we will have to suspend garden waste collections due on Monday 13 March in Burbage, Witherley and Higham on the Hill in order to prioritise missed refuse collections.
