Updated Emergency Press Release - Temporary restriction of Newtown Linford Lane, Groby (HINK1476/2023)

EMERGENCY PRESS RELEASE

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER: NEWTOWN LINFORD LANE, GROBY

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

An emergency temporary road closure is required on Newtown Linford Lane, Groby on the 10th May 2023 for up to 2 days.

The closure will be between the hours of 9am and 3pm. The road will be open outside of these times. Temporary 40mph and 30mph speed restrictions are also required on Newtown Linford Lane, Groby to safely facilitate the completion of the works. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council and their contractors to facilitate footway improvement works and any other associated work to the highway. Leicestershire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during these works.
