Planning Applications

Groby Parish Council is a statutory consultee for all planning applications within Groby.

Planning applications are reviewed and discussed by the Planning and Development Committee of Groby Parish Council whose meetings are held every two weeks. 

Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council is the planning authority and determines the outcome of every planning application. 

Coronavirus – COVID-19

The Prime Minister announced on 23 March 2020 that the Government “will stop all gatherings of more than 2 people in public, excluding the people you live with”.

Following the Government announcement, Parish Council meetings and Parish Council Committee meetings will not be able to take place until further notice.

During this time if you wish to comment on any planning application you can contact HBBC direct via the planning portal.
