What help is available?

Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council is committed to helping anyone who is or has been a victim of domestic abuse. We can offer help, advice, support and guidance on how to deal with any instances of domestic abuse.

Statistically approximately one in four women and one in five men are affected by domestic abuse. We deal with 100+ cases a year and have shown our commitment to helping victims of domestic abuse by employing a dedicated Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker.

For confidential help and advice on domestic abuse please contact the Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker on 07966 202181 or 01455 255746. Further information can be found in the downloadable 'say no to abuse' leaflet.

The Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker also chairs the Hinckley and Bosworth Domestic Abuse Forum, which runs every two months. For further information on the forum, or if you would like to be involved in the forum please contact the Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker using the above contact details.
